Duke of Edinburgh Award

Programme Launch

At Judgemeadow Community College, there has been an active Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme for a number of years.

On Wednesday 26th September at 6.30pm we will be holding an information evening on the Judgemeadow Community College Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme. This will be opportunity to learn more about the Sections or Activities Students are required to complete their Award and the different criteria for each level; Bronze and Silver . We will also share with you how your Son or Daughter can apply to join our programme or move to the next level of the Award. There will be an Open Forum at the end to answer your questions with members of the College team and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

We look forward to meeting you

The closing date for applications this year will be Wednesday 10th October and the application form can be downloaded here. If you have any questions please email ian.coward@beauchamp.org.uk

Experience tells us that each level of the award provides a young person with new insights into their capabilities and by trying new things it helps confidence to grow plus develop useful skills. The official Duke of Edinburgh’s Award website offers a lot more information https://www.dofe.org/ and if you want to get involved or wish to learn more about continuing the programme email: ian.coward@beauchamp.org.uk.
