Community Fun Day

From bouncy castles and face painting, to soccer tournaments and arts and crafts, there really was something for everyone to enjoy.

Last Saturday, on September 16th, we hosted our first-ever Community Fun Day. We were excited to welcome our community and provide a day filled with fun activities that everyone could enjoy.

The day offered something for everyone, from bouncy castles to face painting and henna art. Young soccer enthusiasts had the chance to showcase their skills in a friendly tournament, and there were plenty of arts and crafts activities to keep our little ones engaged.

But that's not all – local food and product vendors set up stalls to share their offerings. Community organisations also joined in, highlighting their important work.

The local police department added to the excitement by bringing their vehicles, allowing our visitors to explore and sit inside them. To make the day even more special, we had some special guests – our local boxing champion, M Ali, presented the football tournament winners, and the talented local chef, Anisagram, showcased her culinary skills in our food tech classroom.

We couldn't have pulled off this amazing day without the help of our fantastic volunteers from Islamic Relief, who played an important role in making everything run smoothly. They even hosted a tasty barbecue near our fields.

We hope that everyone who joined us had a fantastic day, and we're eagerly looking forward to meeting prospective students and their families at our Open Evening on Thursday 21st September.
