Uniform

The Judgemeadow uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the positive ethos of our College. It instils pride, protects children from social pressures to dress in a particular way and nurtures cohesion.

Please be aware that: 

  • A grey jacket with school logo must be worn
  • A school tie must be worn
  • Skirts and trousers must be black and made of school uniform material, not lycra
  • Chinos and skinny trousers are not allowed: trousers must not have rivets
  • Skirts must be knee length or longer
  • Shirts must be tucked in at all times
  • Any headwear worn for religious purposes should be plain black or white.

School Uniform

Alongside the above requirements, the below items of school uniform must be worn:

  • A white school shirt
  • A plain grey V-neck jumper for warmth in winter
  • Black shoes or plain black trainers.

If a pupil is temporarily unable to wear the correct school uniform, parents/carers are asked to write a note in their child’s planner. Parents/carers will be expected to amend incorrect uniform with immediate effect. The college reserves the right to decide on the suitability of any item of clothing. Should you be unsure about anything we urge you to contact us before purchasing.

Only new Year 7 pupils are required to have the PE uniform. For all current years PE uniform need not be replaced until it is outgrown or worn out.

The following items are safety/protective equipment and are essential for all pupils. These items are also strongly recommended by the National Body of the relevant sports and endorsed as safe practice by the AFPE:

  • Gum shield for hockey and rugby
  • Shin pads for hockey and football

PE uniform must include the following items illustrated below:

PE training short sleeve top

PE training long sleeve top

PE training shorts

PE training leggings

PE training football boots (kept in school bag until PE lesson)

PE training top for wet weather (optional)

Plain black religious headwear worn for religious purposes

This is NOT acceptable as part of the school PE kit
